When implementing our grinder package, the process begins with solids from the flow line shakers being caught in the cuttings tank. During grinding, the cuttings are resized and put into a slurry. This aids the centrifuge in the drying process while reducing wear and tear. The effluent from the unit is stored in a tank to help in the wash down of the shaker cuttings into the cuttings tank.
